The Medelast® Surgical Sterile Gauze Swabs is from 100% natural cotton with 40s × 40s yarn, these white gauze swabs are intended for cleaning blood or exudate during wound-care procedures. Configuration choices include 5 × 5 cm, 7.5 × 7.5 cm and 10 × 10 cm sizes; 8, 12 or 16 plies; multiple mesh densities; and folded or unfolded edges.
Clients can also specify a blue X-ray detectable thread or a thread-free version. Sterilization is performed using E.O. or gamma radiation. Each peel-off sterile paper pouch contains 1, 2, 5 or 10 pieces. Products may carry the MEDELAST name or a customized logo for wholesale, import and private-label programs.
