The Medelast® Non-woven Island Wound Dressing is a disposable non-woven fabric dressing with the non adherent absorbent pad for medical use. It is a sterile adhesive plaster applied to a wound to promote healing; the island dressings absorb excess wound fluid, and the adhesive non-woven back conforms around wounds and seals on all four sides, maintaining a sterile environment and provides a protective barrier against further harm.
