MDSFast is a lightweight, elasticated tubular bandage suitable for dressing retention and for wet and dry wrapping for the treatment of Atopic Eczema
How to use MDSFast
1: Select the correct size and cut to Length
2: Stretch MDSFast over the affected Area
3: Place your hand into the bandage and apply to the limb
4: MDSFast may be applied in a double layer for extra security over joints
Wet and Dry Wrapping:
Applying the Bandages
1: Before wet or dry wrapping the person should be bathed, dried thoroughly and have had emollient applied to their skin in a downward motion to prevent the hair follicles becoming blocked.
2: Select MDSFast in the required size to cover the affected area. Measure to
ensure full coverage of the area and cut to size.
3: Apply MDSFast to the affected area (knees, wrists, elbows etc.)
4: When wet wrapping soak in warm water, squeeze out excess and apply damp, follow with a dry top layer.
5: A dry layer can be applied in a single layer over the emollient which will keep the emollient in place longer
Precautions
Before wet or dry wrapping seek the advice from a healthcare professional.
lf the condition worsens when wet or dry wrapping, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
