What is Medelast® Silicone Foam Dressing?
The Medelast silicone foam dressing is a disposable sterile product, it consists of silicone gel and polyurethan foam with bordered edge, the silicone border dressing has high liquid absorptive volum, isolates the wound penetrent liquid from the wound effectively, and reduce the possibility that the wound is infected, and this silicone adheisve foam dressing adhesive sticks to the surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, helping to minimize pain and the risk of damage to the wound area.
